All of the Denver Gay Bars

Trade

Located just off 6th Avenue, near the art district, Trade is a highly-regarded leather and fetish bar, known for its spacious interior and sumptuous events. This well-established venue boasts a dimly lit, open layout with ample seating, and a particularly inviting patio. The patio, recently expanded, provides a covered space ideal for events, and weekend gatherings. From Wednesday's show tunes to weekend gear nights, where patrons can flaunt their prized possessions, the venue hosts a diverse array of happenings. Though lacking a kitchen, a fantastic black metal pizzeria stands nearby, and delectable taco trucks grace the area on weekends.

Vybe

Situated on Broadway, near 10th Avenue, Vybe, having recently celebrated its 5th anniversary, has carved out a prominent place in the Denver scene. The expansive interior features a full-length bar, complemented by numerous smaller tables and seating areas, perfect for accommodating the weekly events and performances. An outstanding upper balcony and a lower patio, complete with a stage, extend the enjoyment area, especially attractive during the warmer months; in winter, the patio is insulated against the chill. This locally-loved establishment is notably family-run. Owner Joey and his mother Sylvia ensure the smooth operation and hospitality of Vybe. Daily hours are standard: 10 AM to 2 AM. Though there's no menu available at present, food and snacks are readily available for events. They are currently updating their menu; an updated one is anticipated for early 2024.

The diverse amenities and family-run ethos make Vybe a Denver favourite, and a go-to spot for many.

Denver Eagle

The Denver Eagle, now in its third iteration, and nestled off W Colfax and Sheridan, definitely maintains its appeal. This well-regarded establishment maintains a consistent schedule of diverse events. The vibrant atmosphere, spearheaded by the dynamic biracial power couple JW and Denny, promotes self-expression and enjoyment. Notably, the Eagle consistently avoids a cover charge, even during Pride celebrations (though this may change for special events). Their Taco Tuesday is renowned, offering delectable fare. Other exceptional events include strip poker, pool competitions, darts, and gear nights. A menu is available from opening until 9 PM, featuring exceptional in-house culinary creations by Cindy, a familiar face from "Daddy's".

Bad Habits

Denver's newest bar and restaurant, Bad Habits, is located on Eastern Colfax. Currently, it is a relatively young business having opened only three weeks ago, and is on a mission to provide exceptional experiences.  Its two-story layout promises a vibrant atmosphere. The bar and restaurant anticipates its grand opening on March 11th. Until then, patrons are welcome to sample their extensive mocktail menu (featuring 16 options). Its substantial interior offers ample seating, but a key highlight is the insulated, heated upstairs patio, proving a welcome escape during the colder months.

Pearl Divers

Pearl Divers, Denver's newest sapphic queer bar, poised to open on December 1st.  This Tiki-themed space offers a relaxing atmosphere, top-shelf liquors, and a thoughtful menu that features both vegan and traditional options. Designed to fill the gap left by the closure of Blush and Blu, the bar hopes to become a community hub, promising extended happy hours and inclusive atmosphere.

Champagne Tiger

Champagne Tiger, a Denver gem known for its vibrant atmosphere and variety of events, is situated in the city centre. Every Thursday, patrons can enjoy their renowned 'Pasta and Piano' nights featuring delectable pasta dishes alongside live piano music. Sundays feature extravagant drag shows featuring local performers, transforming the space into a stage for vibrant entertainment. This, alongside its distinctive bar and food offerings, make Champagne Tiger a favoured spot.

Boyztown

Boyztown, the city's oldest queer cabaret club on Broadway near 1st Avenue, presents a nightly show featuring an all-male cast, beginning at 10 pm. This mirrored venue boasts raised platforms with poles for performers, situated alongside a full-service bar.
