A prominent Hollywood figure, Whoopi Goldberg, has openly addressed her sexuality in a unique way. Goldberg's recent appearance on Raven-Symoné's podcast, The Best Podcast Ever, sparked this discussion. Raven-Symoné, during the episode, suggested that Goldberg emits "lesbian vibes."

After Goldberg's observation that she believed the podcast host was queer, Raven-Symoné pressed Goldberg to elaborate on her own sexuality.

'I must probe your personal life, for this is a safe space,' Raven-Symoné stated to Goldberg. 'Honestly, when I was around you, my affection was profound - I craved closeness to you! But possibly more than that, you radiated a strong attraction to women!'

Following a chuckle from both women, the former Disney Channel star continued, 'But, sometimes Whoopi, your demeanor suggests a strong feminine appeal…"

'I suspect this is a secret desire of Raven's!' joked Raven's wife and co-host, Miranda Maday, adding, 'Possibly she yearns for the public affirmation of a certain orientation, and hopes to inspire a declaration from you right here and now!"

Raven affirmed her partner's observations and invited Goldberg to openly share any insights. 'Therefore, if you have any disclosures, Whoopi, please feel free to share!'

Goldberg responded to the inquiry with forthrightness, acknowledging widespread speculation about her sexuality and stating unequivocally that she is not a lesbian.

'Many women have queried my sexual orientation for quite some time,' Goldberg asserted, "and I am not lesbian. I have, of course, interacted with, and portrayed, many women on screen." "However, my friendships extend to women who are, indeed, just friends, in all their forms.'

Explaining her amicable relationship with women friends, Goldberg exemplified, 'I have clarified, ‘I will not partake in a kiss, but I will share a gesture here,' and so forth. Consequently, they understand."

Goldberg's marital history was also discussed, referencing her past marriages to Alvin Martin, David Claessen, and Lyle Trachtenberg in a recent interview.
